Frequently Asked Questions

My prices start at £1200. I have a range of collections suitable to most wedding days and you can even spread the cost over 12 months interest free if you wish. Get in touch for my latest pricing brochure.

Absolutely. I insist on meeting all my couples before they book with me. Meetings will be conducted in the Yorkshire area within 30 miles of my home address.

My preference is a face to face meeting but if that’s really not possible I’m happy to have a skype conversation instead.

After you’ve contacted me to check that I have your date free, we’ll meet face to face to make sure I’m the right photographer for you. After that you can book me with a non-refundable £300 deposit, this secures your date. The remaining balance will then be due no later than 7 days before your wedding. You can also spread the costs over 12 months interest free if you wish.

You can book me up to 2 years in advance of your wedding day.

Absolutely. I respect your need for privacy. There is an extra charge for a non-disclosure agreement but this is something I can accommodate.

This varies and really depends on your wedding day. For example, a large wedding with 200 guests and lots of details will most likely have many more photographs than a quiet, simple elopement. To give you an idea, for an average 8 hour wedding with guests, I’d expect to deliver around 700 fully edited images.

I pride myself on having one of the fastest turnarounds in the industry. On your wedding day itself I will edit 10-30 images that can be displayed as a slideshow at your evening party and shared on social media if you wish. Then your full online  gallery will be delivered within 14 days of your wedding : most photographers take 6-8 weeks!

Yes you will have full printing rights of your images and can share/use them as you wish.

I use Canon and Sigma professional grade cameras, lenses, lighting etc. I have backups of everything in case of any technical trouble on the day!

Absolutely! My cameras have dual card slots (meaning every photograph is recorded on 2 separate memory cards). After your wedding day, your images are copied onto my computer for editing as well as copied onto 2 separate external hard drives.

As a full time professional photographer, I have all the insurances needed to work at any wedding venue, including public liability.

My prices include travel within England. Outside of England (Scotland, Ireland etc) extra charges will likely apply. If I’m travelling further than 3 hours to get to your wedding, I also ask you to cover the cost of some modest overnight accommodation.

I’m happy to shoot non-UK destination weddings too. Please contact me for a quote.

If you are not worried about having both bridal and groom preparations recorded, you don’t want a wedding day film and your guest list is relatively small, then my smallest package with 1 photographer will probably suit you. Otherwise, I’d advise you to take serious consideration to having extra an photographer or two.

Not at all. I factor in time for a site visit, either before your big day or on the morning of your wedding. Regardless, I have plenty of experience photographing weddings and am adaptable to any venue.

Yes all your images will be uploaded to an online gallery where family and friends can view and purchase prints if they wish.

Yes of course. I will work with you to create family/group photos that will be treasured for years to come. We can discuss and plan these when we meet before booking.

It’s certainly not necessary but it helps if I can be fed at your venue at the same time as you and your guests. Every wedding is different however, and we will discuss this when I meet you to see what arrangement works best for you and your day.

It’s an absolute pet hate of mine to see vendors dressed in logo/polo t-shirts and combat trousers! On your wedding day I will dress in a stylish and smart way, like one of your guests. This helps me to blend in, make everyone feel at ease and remain as unobtrusive as possible.
