Dunedin Country House Wedding Photography – Dunedin is one of my favourite venues to photograph. Not only is it a stunning location, but it’s only a 5 minute drive from my home!
I’ve known Kayleigh for many years. She’s a fellow photographer (and a very good one at that) so I was super honoured she picked me to be her wedding photographer. We have frequented many of the same watering holes over the years and I know what a sweet, caring person she is so I knew her big day would be wonderful.
Ben and Kayleigh chose Ottringham church for their ceremony. Ottringham is a cute village around 5 miles away from Withernsea and the church is the centre of the community there.
Kayleigh’s mum walked her down the aisle and gave her away to traditional church organ music. The big stained glass window in the church made for some beautiful images. Then it was straight onto Dunedin House (in a snazzy vintage car) for the reception.
I loved the deep emerald colour of the bridesmaid dresses and the big teardrop bouquet that Kayleigh carried.
They had afternoon tea with a choice of sandwiches and cakes. A vintage singer entertained guests.
The speeches afterwards were very funny! I won’t be forgetting them for a while.
Afterwards Ben and Kayleigh’s puppy-child joined us for games outside. A very excitable pug puppy mixed with excited children meant I had to get very energetic to keep up with them to get some shots! There was no need for the gym that week!
The couple had communicated they were camera-shy previously so we had a casual walk around the grounds of Dunedin for some relaxed portraits.
Thank you Kayleigh and Ben for letting me be a part of your amazing day!
